Narre Warren North Road is located within the south-eastern suburb of Narre Warren North. The project forms part of the Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) Suburban Roads Upgrade (SRU) Program. The upgrade works comprise constructing an additional lane, upgrading the intersection, improving safety by adding new traffic lights, installing new safety barriers, and constructing new walking and cycling paths.
Tonkin + Taylor was engaged by Arcadis, who were the lead Civil Consultant on the project, to provide geotechnical and pavement design consultancy services during the design and construction stages.
Tonkin + Taylor’s project scope also included a Utility impact assessment, which evaluated the vibration impacts of construction and permanent works on existing assets.
