Key challenges

Key project challenges included evaluating the structural capacity of an existing road network with variable pavement conditions and determining the extent of strengthening required to accommodate heavy construction traffic, including oversized and over-mass vehicle movements. The assessment required integration of pavement condition, deflection testing, and traffic loading analyses to quantify the impact of the proposed development.
